The 14-month Longevity Program costs R$14,280 and can be paid in up to 12 interest-free installments. In this cost, we include a high added value, containing a lot of technology, as well as all the medications with geroprotectors and nutraceuticals in personalized formulas, the complete batteries of tests, the smart collar with 24-hour monitoring, as well as the specialized veterinary follow-up.

Yes. Our co-founder and chief scientist, Dr. Matt Kaeberlein, is also co-founder of the Dog Aging Project, the largest scientific canine longevity program in the world.

Therefore, our first protocol to be made available in Brazil is based on more than a decade of project learning. 

Similarly, we are carrying out unprecedented research in Brazil to slow down the process of canine aging and thus discover new therapies to delay physical and cognitive decline in dogs (PAMEC).

O Dog Aging Project is the largest canine longevity research program in the world, with 50,000 participating dogs and more than a decade of scientific studies. Co-founded by our Chief Scientist and PhD Dr. Matt Kaeberlein, the project has published more than 50 scientific articles and has a database of more than 23,000 veterinary records. More than 40 renowned institutions participate in the project, including Harvard Medical School and Princeton University.

The smart collar is used to monitor the dog's health and behavior in real time. 

It helps to collect important data such as pulse rate, respiratory rate, temperature, changes in posture, physical activity, sleep patterns and other vital signs, which are essential for the personalized monitoring of the longevity protocol.

The drugs and nutraceuticals are sent monthly during the twelve months of treatment. The doses and products used are reviewed each month to adapt to the pet and the stage of life it is in. 

This is because, just as no two barks are the same, each dog has unique needs that can change over time. 

The protocol is adjusted according to the veterinary assessment and the data collected by the smart collar, ensuring that the treatment is always the most appropriate for the animal's well-being.

The PetLife program lasts a total of 14 months. In the first month you will schedule appointments and exams, then you will have twelve months of treatment, and in the last month there will be a review of the treatment with an analysis of the next steps. This forms a complete treatment cycle, focused on improving the dog's health and quality of life, delaying the signs of ageing.

Veterinary care is necessary to personalize the protocol. Only a qualified professional will be able to carry out an in-depth assessment of the dog's health conditions in order to prescribe what is ideal for its time of life and needs. In addition, this monitoring ensures that the protocol is frequently adapted in line with the dog's evolution. In this way, we ensure that the protocol is used properly and that the dog is offered what is really necessary for a better quality of life - after all, each organism is unique.

The main difference between drugs e nutraceuticals in veterinary medicine lies in their regulation and purpose of use:

• Veterinary drugsThese are substances with proven therapeutic action, used to prevent, treat or cure diseases in animals. In Brazil, they are regulated by the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (MAPA) and must undergo safety, efficacy and quality studies before being marketed.
• Veterinary nutraceuticalsThese are food-based products that provide health benefits to animals, but have no direct therapeutic purpose. They may contain vitamins, minerals, fatty acids and other bioactive compounds. In Brazil, their regulation may vary and they are classified as nutritional additives or supplements supplements for animals, also under MAPA supervision.
